While this training is open to everyone, we recommend that participants have some understanding of yoga or any movement practice. This training is about learning, growing, and exploring.
However, a solid foundation of strength, body awareness, and a serious interest in anatomy will help you get the most out of the experience.

Training Overview
Preliminary: Terminology (3 hours of recorded video)
Objective: Familiarize yourself with essential yoga and anatomical terms.
Topics Covered
Anatomical terms (flexion, extension, abduction, adduction, rotation, etc.).
Basic biomechanics and movement terminology.
Bones, tendons, ligaments, muscles, and tissues– their roles in movement.
How these structures interactin yoga asanas.
Neuro-flossing, passive vs. active stretching, and PNF techniques.
Practical applications in yoga.
Differentiating betweensafe discomfort and injury signals.
Nervous system’s role in pain perception.
When toengage vs. relaxmuscles in poses.
Stability vs. mobility inDownward Dog, Warrior II, and more.
Shoulder, elbow, wrist, and spine anatomy.
Common issues : Impingement, tendinitis, herniated discs and modifications.
Alignment focus: Downward Dog, Chaturanga, Shoulder Stand, Plank.
Hands-on adjustmentsfor safe teaching.
Shoulder/wrist stability, core engagement, and progressions.
Hip, knee, ankle, and foot anatomy.
Common issues (tight hips, knee misalignment, plantar fasciitis) and solutions.
Alignment focus:Warrior series, Pigeon Pose, Tree Pose.
Teaching cues & hands-on adjustments.
Stability drillsin Tree Pose, Eagle Pose, Half Moon.
Proprioceptive trainingfor better body awareness.
1-hour group call to clarify questions and refine teaching skills.

With a BSc. in Physical Therapy and an MSc. in Sports Physical Therapy, Nils brings a science-based approach to his teaching. He specializes in visceral osteopathy, sports biomechanics, and injury prevention, helping students and athletes move smarter and recover stronger.
His practice also includes weightlifting, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and cycling, creating a well-rounded, functional approach to movement.
Nils is passionate about coffee, ice baths, and handstands, and his teaching focuses on empowering students to build strength, confidence, and mindfulness. His diverse background and commitment to holistic health make him a valuable guide for anyone looking to deepen their practice and enhance their well-being.
